Class Notes - March 4, 2009

7th Grade - We reviewed the weather project expectations. We will not be spending anymore class time on this, so plan on finishing up on your own time. We will be filming in class on Monday.

8th Grade - We reviewed the Election of 1860 and the Road to war from yesterday. We discussed the advantages of the North  and South and filled out a graphic organizer with the information. You will have a quiz on these topics tomorrow - study your notes.

Gifted Enrichment - We had a "Hot Seat" discussion of Animal Farm. Thanks to those of you who played the characters for our discussion. Reminder that you will have an Animal Farm test tomorrow. Review your notes.

Happy New Year!

Welcome back to the New Year!

Student Council will meet every Friday until the Winter Ball so that we can plan and make it a great event for the school.  Next Friday we will vote on the theme and choose some decorations to work towards.  We also need to come to a final decision on the T-shirts.  It is important that everyone attend and contribute to this effort!

See you on the 16th!
