Thursday: Chorus Concert 7 p.m.

In this week we will finish with the Hospital Topic. On Wednesday we will start a new Topic The Country. Sttudents will learn places in the country, also adjectives for colors. You will continue practicing There+be(There is/are), and more preopsitions of place (across, behind, inside, next to, from, into,over).This time you will practice Present continuous.

This week will have a great week. I think the topic is intereting for them The Hospital, They will learn new vocabulary words and also we will do a roleplay with health workers in the classroom using the medical items in the hospital. I sure they will enjoy and learn.

Dear, students this week we will be studying a new topic (6) The suburbs, you will learn about places and items in the suburbs. Also, you will learn about adjectives + noun. In grammar we will study present continuous.

Dear Parents: The Cognitive Abilities will be administered to students in eight grade on September 17th -18th. This test measures student performance on abilities related to success in school subjects.

Estimados Padres: El 17 and 18 de Septiembre, los estudiantes de octavo grado tambien tomaran la prueba conocida como "Cognitive Habilities Test". Esta prueba mide el desempeno del estudiante en lo que respecta el exito en las materias academicas.

Monday students will watch the movie the Indiand and the cupboard after we finish Unit 1. Students will enjoy the movie and also they have to do a movie review at home.

During this week students will be learning about The City. Unit 2 Topic 5. They will learn about places in the city. Language we will add more prepositions of place as across at, behind, between, in front of.

Grammar: The students will practice mini conversations with there is /there are. (There+be)
