Our Sincere Sympathy

On behalf of the Awtrey PTSA, the Executive Board would like to express our sincere sympathy to all of the families that have been affected by the recent incident at Virginia Tech.  The State of Georgia lost two of its brightest stars, who were Fulbright Scholars with excellent character.  We’d like to remind all of our parents that our school counselors are available should you or your student wish to talk with them.

Giving Tree

Please open your hearts this time of year to help some of our families in need.
In the front of the school there is a "Giving Tree" with several ornaments on it.  Each ornament has a child's age and wish on it. All you do is pick an ornament, sign up on the sheet next to the tree, buy the item, attach the tag to the item and return it to school by December 18th.  You can make a child's wish come true this holiday season!
Thank you so much for your generosity.
