Well testing is finally over with until the Spring so we can get back to usual!

Monday: Warm-up, reviewed factors, prime numbers, Took some notes on simplying radical expressions, did some practice HW 5 problems

Tuesday: Warm-up, checked HW, wrote our index cards listing perfect squares, Did worksheet problems. HW.Worksheet practice A #'s 10,14,22,24,26,28. Quiz on Thursday on this

Wednesday: Checked HW, Went to lab to do Skill Tutor Quiz on Thursday

Thursday: Quiz, Notes on Adding and Subtracting Radicals. Practice pg. 813 15-29 in MacDougal Book

Friday: warm-up quiz continue with practice

9/17-9/21/07

Study Skills

Each day will be doing our warm-up on integers +,-,x./ . On Monday we will preview sq. roots, rational and irrational numbers and practice adding integers.

Tuesday we will work on Fractions adding with like and unlikr denominators.

Wednesday: We will practice solving expressions in radicals and review for Quiz

Thursday: We will preview estimating square roots with using a number line.

Friday: We will have a warm-up quiz and continue working on subtracting fractions.

9/4-9/7/07

Tuesday through Friday:  Today and all week we are going to be doing centers. We did an assetment last week and whatever areas your student is week in they will be going to those centers for remedial instruction and practice all week. Instruction includes equations, order of operations, multiplying and dividing by powers of 10 and repeated multiplication. If they didn't need help in those areas they are working with skills tutor computer program with fractions.

8/27-8/31/07

Monday: Warm-up #1, complete reading strategies for 10.5 & 10.8 worksheets , review for test on probabilities. study for vocab. quiz and test hw study

Tuesday: Test

Wednesday: warm-up #2, Define vocab. for Unit 2, Take are you ready pre-test?, go over essential question and standards

Thursday: warm-up#3 ,notes on exponents, practice reteach #4.1

Friday: warm-up#4, problem solving and reading strategies, also puzzles, twisters & teasers.

8/20 - 8/8/24/07

Study Skills

Monday: We worked on word problems involving probability, tree diagrams and the counting principle. HW. Complete worksheet that was started in class.

Tuesday: We are continuing to work on probability as our warm-up, finish our writing assignment from Math, and complete a worksheet with word problems.

Wednesday: Go to computer lab to work on math skills of fractions with a 80% success.

Thursday: Worksheets on dependent and independent events, Review vocab. HW.Study for Quiz on Vocab.

Friday: Quiz on Vocab., Comp challenge #1, worksheets on reading strategies.
